On Tuesday, June 2nd, the Yacht Club Como opened its doors to Vela Day 2026 : a day to discover the allure of sailing, learn about the Sailing School , and experience Lake Como with instructors and enthusiasts. An open invitation to children, teens, families, and the curious, combining sport, the lake, and freedom for everyone!

The big event
One Hundred Miles of the Lario
The 77th edition of the Centomiglia del Lario will take place on October 11, 2026: the iconic Italian powerboat race.
This legendary race, founded way back in 1949, has seen the participation of Italian and foreign pilots who have made the history of powerboating.
Over its 70-year history, the Centomiglia del Lario has earned itself the title of an unmissable event for all lovers of this magnificent discipline, a global showcase for our region, and a symbol of excellence for Lombardy's sport.

LCYS Academy
The Lago di Como Youth Sails Academy is the beating heart of the Yacht Club Como for the training of young sailors. With qualified instructors and modern boats, we offer courses for all ages and levels, promoting the values of sport, respect for the environment, and teamwork. We invest in the future of sailing, accompanying our young talents towards new adventures and success on the lake.

Our Como Yacht Club promotes a spirit of collaboration and friendship between sailing clubs in Italy and abroad through reciprocal sporting and membership agreements.
The Como Yacht Club maintains reciprocal relationships with select nautical and/or sports clubs that share our values of sportsmanship, respect for nautical sports (and more), and conviviality.
